For those of you who don’t know, Cuso is an international development organization that works to reduce poverty and inequality through the efforts of highly skilled volunteers, collaborative partnerships and compassionate donors.
I am very excited to join a group of hikers from across Canada to physically challenge ourselves as well see first hand the important work Cuso does. On my 2nd day in Peru, I will be visiting our partner, Centro Bartolome de las Casas, an amazing group of women entrepreneurs who welcome guests into their homes so they can experience the rural Andean way of life. Cuso volunteers support this eco-tourism business to help the women and their families thrive.
As part of my commitment, I am fundraising $1500 to help sustain Cuso’s vital work. I hope you will consider making a gift today in support of my campaign.
