For my big 50th next year, I will be hiking up to Machu Picchu as part of a charity challenge for Cuso International and I'd love your help!!
Cuso International is a development organization that works to reduce poverty and inequality through the efforts of highly skilled volunteers, collaborative partnerships and compassionate donors. I have known about them and the work they do for 30 years. I really like their approach of long-term investments to communities to promote the empowerment of women and sustainable development. One day, I hope to volunteer for them, maybe overseas.
As part of my journey, I am fundraising $4000 to help sustain Cuso’s vital work. I hope you will consider making a gift today in support of my campaign. Note that none of this money goes towards my trip...that I will pay for myself.
Right now, for every $1 you donate the Canadian Government will provide $9. That means a $25 contribution becomes $250 and a $100 gift becomes $1000!
Also, for every $50 donation, I will make a difference locally by planting a tree in spring 2020. And, for a $200 donation, I could come to your property to offer you some tree advice (Ottawa residents only!).
Thank you for your support and for helping me to make a difference!
Since 1961, Cuso International has been working to reduce poverty and inequality through the efforts of volunteers, partners, and donors. Each year Cuso International mobilizes hundreds of professionals who volunteer side-by-side with local partners to create positive and lasting change.
